It features three artists each representing a linguistic region of the Caribbean whose works show how representation is an active process rather than a passive translation of the visible world. Representational Acts presents original performance works as well as works never before see on the west coast by Carlos Martiel (Cuba), Andil Gosine (Trinidad), and Jimmy Robert (Guadeloupe). A reception with the artists will follow the performances.
