Colombian artist Lina Espinosa discusses how she implements the languages and strategies of science and art to explore issues in contemporary society. By synthesizing scientific examination, biological and geological materials and fine art processes, she studies ecosystems, cartographies and territories, industrial development, and environmental imbalances to create poetic interventions, objects, and images.
