Our students bring joy and youthfulness to the museum. Most of them begin the program to meet the Long Beach Unified School District's 40-hour community service graduation requirement for all high school students.
Students usually stay beyond the 40-hour requirement because the Museum provides a great environment for teens to meet socially, help and learn about Latin American art and culture.
MOLAA's Student Program is Three-tiered.
1. Students participate in mailing membership renewals.
2. Students participate in selling snacks and greeting guests at Educational events.
3. Students participate in assisting with art workshops on Target Free Sundays, and serving as junior counselors for Summer Art Camp.
